Ray Gets Excited

With John McCain's announcement of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, Ray is feeling almost giddy about the campaign.

Being the chief exec of a state of 670k for 18 months and Mayor of a town of 8k makes her ready to be President?

Oh I forgot. She was a beauty queen
That will do it for the McCain tkt.
If he thinks she will woo Hillary supporters, he has really gone over the edge.
Most Hillary supporters are pro choice.

Ray, lets face it if there was one anti choice candidate on any ballot for any office you would vote for them.

See that is the problem with you side Bruce. You guys know nothing and then state it like it is fact for others to see.

My choice in the 2006 gubernatorial race was Rick Bennett. I actually started a website to take comments to encourage him to run. We had several meetings with Rick and I really thought he might do it. Then Peter Cianchette jumped in and that killed any chances.

By the way, Rick Bennett is pro-choice.

I simply happened to believe he was the right man at the right time to lead our state.

IF all factors are equal, yes I will stand with the person that takes a pro-life position because I believe killing the innocent un-born is immoral.

I will also support one who is not pro-life if the office being sought is unlikely to have a bearing on the issue.

It is unlikely, however, that I would ever support a pro-choice President.

I believe abortion is murder, no different that when someone willing shoots and kills another.

The weapon may be different, but the result is the same.

Then you backed Woodcock against Baldacci

I thought Cianchette, he who is on a paid vacation to Costa Rica, ran in 2002 not 2006
