Ray, I can't believe it Common ground. The Governor was right proposing a consolidation plan. I never believed he would get what he proposed in its entirety, but some positive effect will come out of the time spent discussing it. It has been 40 years since the SAD's were formed. The conversation about how best to combine services needs to be ongoing,not only for financial purposes ,but with student outcomes in mind.
Honestly, I just don't think this is in Maine's best interest. Seriously, stop trying to encourage the Guv. He's a lame duck and should smile,wave and keep a low profile until a Republican Guv takes the reighs from him in 2011.
