Ray thinks that the recent rumblings that John McCain might pick Tom Ridge or Joe Lieberman as his running mate are just head-fakes, and that when he makes his actual pick (Ray's betting Romney), that person's conservative credentials will not be questioned.

Having a pro choice candidate like Ridge might get him some more moderate republicans.
We on the left would not want that
Obama/ Biden can handle

Mitt Romney would be a great choice! He may not be the ultra conservatives dream but, who can question his credentials? There is no such thing as a candidate that fits everyones expectation.
