I agree Ray, abortion is murder.
It would be nice, however, to hear that sentiment consistently from those who believe it and who happen to be members of the media.
It is one thing to be occasionally outraged about the horror of abortion and those who promote it.
It apparently is another to hear those who could question our pro-abortion leaders in Maine (Edmonds, Strang-Burgess, Baldacci, etc), and yet do not do so when those opportunities present themselves.
Regardless of the reason for the silence at those time, it is as deafening and noticeable as the screams of the pre-born babies who are murdered in their mothers' wombs.

I appreciate your comments but abortion is not the only subject for discussion when those who support abortion come on my show.
When Beth Edmonds said we had an obligation to fund abortions for the poor because it was a Constitutional obligation, I spent an entire segment on the issue with her. You can locate it on mymfoxmaine.com. click on morning show tab and put "beth edmonds" in the search box.
I do fifteen hours a week of live radio/television. I assure you, no one in Maine talks about the evils of abortion more than me on the airwaves.
You are right Ray. That ugly rumor got strated by the liberal fringe, just like the rumor that Obama is a Muslim was started by the Conservative fringe.
Abortions are a legal medical procedure, and until McCain gets the Whitehouse and appoints judges to overturn Roe v Wade, should be funded for the poor just like any other legal procedure. Of course you are against funding for the poor on anything you don't think they need.
Let's keep funding Viagra though, so poor guys can reproduce too.

I am the one who brought it forward that we were funding viagra for sex offenders.
I am against the funding of viagra with tax dollars.
Your side thinks compassion is giving money with accountability.
I believe, not my side, I believe that giving one a helping hand up who is trying to lift themselves from their circumstances is part of what makes our society special.
I do not believe in giving an able-bodied, able-minded person who is capable but will not contribute to his or her own well-being a single thing.
If they get hungry enough or cold enough, they will figure out that life owes them nothing.
I cannot figure out why liberals, not sure where you fit in that crowd, think it is noble to enable some to live off of others.

You digress from the issue of funding a legal medical procedure.
I did too.
So you are against free medical service for those who cannot afford it for all legal procedures.
Someone who has been raped by their drunken father and has been so embarassed that they have kept silent hoping it would go away, finally walks into the Dr office and asks for a legal abortion. if they cannot pay for it themslves or get some charity to, you say let them suffer, no tax dollars for that.
Don't turn this into a welfare for those who won't help them selves issue.
As for the Viagra thing
After yor statement about Palin and how she is treated for being a woman,you must realize the Viagra issue is a guy thing. No tax dollars would ever be spent to give women the ability to have better sex the way it is on the male impotence drugs
I am against the taxpayer funding of abortions. I realize this is a legal proceedure, but it is also an elective one.
It is completely consistent to oppose taxpayer funding for viagra, contraception and abortions.
The activity associated with these issues is purely voluntary, or elective, meaning by choice.
How about taxpayer funding for birthcontrol for the poor who are eligible for medicaid Ray

Doesn't really make sense until one realizes that the conservatives do not want to pay a dime for helping to support those unwanted kids anyway.
