Get a job

Ray has a message for every able-bodied person out there on the government dole, a message the Legislature is afraid to deliver because they're too worried about the election in Novemeber: Fend. For. Yourself.

If working parents in this state can take on two or three jobs to make ends meet, there's no reason why able-bodied people looking for a handout can't go out and find work.

Stuck on Dumb?

Tony Payne from the Alliance for Maine's Future was on The FOX Morning News this morning to talk about Maine's economy and what we the people can do to turn the state's tanking economy around. Ray says we've got to act. We've got to force our legislators to make difficult decisions, make difficult cuts, and start leading.

Maine Governor Baldacci appeared on The Fox Morning News today to address recent talk of state budget cuts and state taxes. Ray applauds the governor's efforts to join forces with state Republicans and moderates to defeat the state Democrats' efforts to raise taxes upon the Maine people.

A recent survey reveals that 8 in 10 Mainers are against raising taxes to bridge the budget gap. So now Democrats in the Maine legislature have a powerful new opponent beating back their efforts to increase the sales tax: The Maine people.
