As if there were any doubt, these Democrat Senators do not support the troops

Twenty five Democrat U.S. Senators refused to condemn the terrible Moveon.org ad in the New York Times on Thursday, showing their true colors for all to see.

Its a newspaper ad. A NEWSPAPER AD. It seems absolutely absurd to me that with everything else going on in this country, not to mention the war itself, they are spending money and time debating and voting on a newspaper ad. I would rather see the American public wake up to the egregious waste of time and money that is going on with all of this.

In a larger sense, I completely agree with you. Whether Democrat or Republican controlled, the United States Congress is a dissapointment at the very least and an outrage and disgrace at the very worse.

With that said, they vote did occur. This ad is in the spirit of the very worst in what we call "American Political Discourse." There is no question both sides are guilty and both sides should be ashamed of some of the things they have done in the name of winning, however, we are focusing on this specific ad and the very disgraceful nature of it.

The Senate voted 81 - 0 to confirm the General as the right man for the job based on his ability to lead and the integrity he has shown throughout his career. A "No vote" was a slapped in his face and a slap at the men and women so bravely defending this nation.

The Democrats in the Senate have the majority. They control the agenda. Yesterday, they took a vote to pull our troops out in nine months. IF, IF, IF this were about principle and not about politics, that vote would have passed. It failed 47-47. Of course, six people failed to show up for work.

Ah, the "MODERN" United States' Senate, what a wonderful waste of taxpayer money.
