Hopefully this country does not need another 9/11 to get together again. Back in the late fifties, the Soviet space program was way ahead of ours. JFK put a challenge to put a man on the moon by the end of the decade. The result was the country came together and we did it! Now we have an energy challenge. No matter who wins in November, we will have much better leadership than we have today. With good leadership we can all get together and be independent from Middle East oil. Lets hope that we are challenged and we accept it.
